"Can I take you to the opera?"
"Uhhhh.."
"I mean, can you take me to the opera?"
"Yes, I can."

That is definitely funny. Ha ha. That must have been awkward at first. I would have found it awkward, but, maybe I'm just crazy :) I love reading your entries.
It wasn't awkward actually, just funny and cute.
